Help Restore Marquee for Asheville's Artists
Marquee was created as a highly curated art and design marketplace on Foundy Street in the heart of Asheville’s River Arts District. The overarching mission of Marquee was to provide support for artistically-oriented entrepreneurs by providing vending space, central sales, marketing and shipping services. We also hosted events and served as a community hangout with a beer and wine bar, nonalcoholic lounge and restaurant in the works. In our short three years, we were home to over 300 artists, makers, antique dealers and small business owners. This loss will have a huge impact on their lives and on Asheville’s vibrant, creative landscape. We want to rebuild! For all of us.

Marquee brings to life the nostalgic experience of entering a dramatic space featuring the excitement and talent of its over the top decor and creative vendors that set their stage with the wares that they sell. Marquee is a design centric market place of curated vendors from around the region and beyond that offer unique antiques, vintage and artful decor, jewelry and craft for the home and garden. Marquee is the culmination of a European street market with the colorful Asheville vibe.
